Pärnu is a perfect starting point for visiting small islands Kihnu and Ruhnu. When you go to Ruhnu you should plan at least three days for the trip.

From Pärnu to Kihnu on a yacht you can reach in 4-6 hours and to Ruhnu in 10-14 hours. During longer trips you can learn quite a bit about sailing, sheet and hold the helm, navigate and even bake pancakes on larger boats. We will also organise accommodation, catering and trips on the islands.

Kuressaare port in Saaremaa can be reached in 10 hours from Pärnu and Roomassaare port in 8 hours.

It takes 24 hours to sail from Pärnu to Riga, but in addition to the capital you can also visit small ports on the shore of Latvia.

When you take a yacht out to the sea you must be healthy and know how to swim. We recommend using waterproof warm clothes as it is always a few degrees colder at the sea than on the land and it becomes especially evident when you get wet. You should wear light-coloured non-sliding footwear with low soles that stay firmly on your feet, flip-flops, loafers and high heels are not the most comfortable sailing shoes.
